Avenue of Stars Closes for 3 years, tourists are truly upset



Avenue of Stars Closes, a famous promenade opened in 2004 at the stretch of prime harbourfront in Tsim Sha Tsui, will be closed down for up to 3 years for renovation and expansion work. A food hub, a film gallery and a performance venue will be built on the extended section, and dining facilities will also be added in Salisbury Garden, outside the Museum of Art.

Avenue of Stars is a beloved attractions to visitors, especially those from Mainland China, in addition to its stunning panoramic view across Victoria Harbour, tourists told RTHK that closing down for 3 years is too long and they definitely want to visit Avenue of Stars when visiting Hong Kong, some say that they will return to Hong Kong again after it is reopened.
